Melanie Riera
Melanie Riera has been dancing since a child. During high school she became a member of the Greenwich Academy Dance Corps. Melanie’s passion for dance continued into college where she joined Boston University’s Dance Theater Group and was elected Treasurer and President of the group. Melanie has studied various forms of dance including ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, hip hop, and ballroom. She graduated with a B.S. degree in Communications from Boston University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Richmond. Instructors that Melanie has studied with include Micki Taylor-Pinney, Ann Brown Allen, Margot Parsons and Rose Jackson Moye. Melanie is working with the younger Allegra dancer and runs the popular Saturday morning program.
